If you're looking for a fun yet affordable gift idea, may I recommend patch totes! Whether it's a family member, friend, your child, your bridesmaids, coworkers, or other important people in your life, patch totes can be a fun way to liven up the act of carrying around your essentials.

It's easy to do! Just spread out the patches so they are fairly balanced across the front of the bag. We don't recommend the back, as that will rub against the person's body and may come off easier.
All the patches we sell are iron-on-- meaning you simply iron over the patches (on the cotton or mid-range setting) to adhere them to your purse or tote.
Personalize it or design by theme
For some of the totes I've made for my friends, I personalize them according to their personality and things they like. I also added patches according to inside jokes we had, things from trips we've taken, or things we like to do together.

Iron-On Embroidered Patch Tips
Here are some best practices to make sure you have the best experience with your patches:
- Make sure there's no wax backing on the back of the patch before trying to iron it on.
- Don't use the highest setting-- usually the cotton setting that is in the upper mid-range (think a 4 to 5 on a scale of 8) is ideal.
- Leave the iron on the patch for about 60-90 seconds before checking it.
- Patches and iron will be hot-- use caution.
- Don't leave the iron on too long-- that can cause discoloration!
- Sometimes fabric glue is needed as well to ensure a long term hold
- Most patches can be washed once they are properly adhered.
- Don't attach patches on top of seams or folds.
