How We Began

Why Begin started in 2024 by Kelsey Jones, who began building websites on Geocities at age 13 in the 90s to showcase her love for *NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys (obviously). She uses her SEO and content marketing experience to make Why Begin a smashing success! (Why Begin operates under the parent company Six Stories LLC, owned by Kelsey.)

After getting an MBA in 2021 to feel more business-like (which didn’t really work), she went on to acquire OneBook, an all-in-one planner, notebook, and journal, which is still one of Why Begin’s most popular products.
